Credit Card Number Search

 

Purpose:  To search for credit card transactions that have been entered into the system.

 

Launch Point: This routine can be launched from the following location(s):

 

      File Drop-Down Menu (on the main system screen) →

 

Example:  When you launch the routine, an empty grid will open.

 

There are four ways to search for credit card transactions: credit card number, credit card (last 4), reference number, or authorization code.

 

To search by credit card number, select the radio button for Credit Card and enter the credit card number that you are searching for.

 

To search by credit card (last 4), select the radio button for Credit Card (last 4) and enter the last 4 digits of the credit card number that you are searching for.

 

To search by reference number, select the radio button for Reference # and enter the reference number that you are searching for.

 

To search by authorization code, select the radio button for Auth. Code and enter the authorization code that you are searching for.

 

The Include Transactions Between date range can be used to filter the transactions found to a specified date range.

 

To see the transactions that match the filter criteria click the Display Matches button.

 

The grid will display all credit card transactions that match the search criteria. To see the details of how the payment was distributed, expand the child row(s) in the grid by clicking on the plus sign to the left of the row. You can print the results by clicking the Print List button.
