The Dashboard allows you to filter a specific data-aware dashboard item. To configure filtering, select the target dashboard item and click the Edit Filter button on the Chart Tools > Data ribbon. Or you can right-click on the dashboard item and select the Edit Filter option.
The filter tool allows you to filter based on any dimensions, including hidden dimensions, defined for the dashboard item.
Note: Filters applied to specific dashboard items have no effect on other dashboard items. To filter all dashboard items, use the query filter option instead.
To clear filtering in the Designer, select the target dashboard item and click the Clear button in the Data tab. Or right-click a dashboard item and select Clear from its context menu.
