Add Current Committee Members to Selection File

 

Purpose:  To add records to a committee selection file to be used in the creation of new committee service records or update of existing committee service records for the new committee year.

 

Launch Point: This routine can be launched from the following location(s):

 

      Committees → Routines → Selection Process →

 

Example:  When the routine is launched a window will open

 

Select the Filter criteria to use in the upper left of the window. By default, the Exclude Terminated/Resigned members is checked and the Include term date is set to the current date. If you want to pull records with a different service date change the Include term date. Choose either All Committees, One Committee Type, or One Committee and click the Extract existing members bar. Note: Inactive committees will be excluded.

 

The records that meet the criteria will be brought into the grid and the Extend term options will become enabled. If there are any records in the grid that you do not wish to bring into the selection file you can remove them by checking the Exclude box in the grid.

 

Select to extend the end service date on these records either by a Specified number of years or Through a specified date. Then click the Add to selection file bar.

 

Click OK to add the records to the selection file.

 

A message will then show how many records have been added to the selection file.
