Purpose: To post the month-end journal entries for the current journal entry period. Should be run as the final step in your month-end close process. Once the period is flagged as closed, you cannot enter any new transactions for that period.
Launch Point: This routine can be launched from the following location(s):
•Utilities → Routines → General Ledger Journal Entries →
Example: When the routine is launched a confirmation message will appear
Note: This routine is relevant only for those states that use the Journal Entries - Create Automatic routine.
