Purpose: Many fields in file maintenance appear on-screen as full names or phrases, such as Act Chapter, Status, Type, and Mailing Lists. Actually, the data in the table is a one, two, or three character code. These codes and descriptions are linked via a system code definitions table. Sometimes, these codes and definitions fall out of synchronization, leaving “orphaned” codes in the tables. This report lists records in the Names table that have invalid codes.
