MOA Transfer

 

Purpose:  To move Money on Account (MOA) money from one record to another.

 

Launch Point: This routine can be launched from the following location(s):

 

      Names → File Maintenance → Routines Drop-Down Menu → MOA Transfer to Firm

 

      Firms → File Maintenance → Routines Drop-Down Menu → MOA Transfer

 

Example:  When the routine is launched a window will open

 

 

Name to Firm

 

The MOA Transfer to Firm (Name to Firm) routine is accessed when a names record is active.

This routine will allow you to transfer all or part of a names MOA balance to the linked firm. The current MOA balance is shown in parenthesis after Available Amount. Enter the amount to transfer, up to the available amount.

 

 

Firm to Name

 

The Firm to Name routine is accessed when a firms record is active. 

 

When a firm has a Money on Account balance, it can be transferred to any employee linked to that firm. The Firm to Name routine will bring up a list of linked names from which to select to whom to move all or part of the firms MOA balance. Highlight the employee and click OK.

A window will open showing the firm and selected employee. The current firm MOA balance is shown in parentheses after Available Amount. Enter the amount to transfer, up to the available amount.

 

 

Firm to Firm

 

The Firm to Firm routine is accessed when a firms record is active.

This routine will allow you to transfer all or part of a firms MOA balance to another firm. The current MOA balance is shown in parentheses after Available Amount. Enter the amount to transfer, up to the available amount.
