Purpose: This report lists daily totals for cash and credit transactions, with subsequent month-to-date totals, It is used primarily as a pre-posting review before closing the month to the General Ledger. Totals on this report can be compared to those on the Daily Closing report and / or the Daily Totals report to investigate any discrepancies between the daily totals as they were recorded when each day was closed, versus the final daily totals at the end of the month.
