Purpose: To update legislator records in your system for associations currently subscribing to the optionally-available software from Aristotle. This routine updates data such as the legislator’s government and district office addresses and phone/fax numbers. It affects only data in the legislator master file, which is displayed on the Legislator tab in Names file maintenance. It does not affect any data in the names or firms master files. In addition to updating data for existing legislators, it will also add new legislators, and delete any who were not re-elected. Note: When updates are ready to be loaded an email is automatically sent to the email address(es) listed in the Legislator update notification email address system preference.
