Do not require preferences in Selection File Maintenance:  When this preference is checked the preference field in Committees-Routines-Selection Process-Step 3 Selection File Maintenance is not a required field.

Minimum incremental search character count:  Set to the minimum number of characters required before the committees incremental search results are displayed. Must be set between 1 and 4. Setting this to 1 may have a detrimental impact on the system performance if you have more then 2,000 records in this module. 2 is the recommended setting.

Use HTML formatting for the Committee Description field:  When this preference is set the Description field on the Name tab in Committees file maintenance will be an HTML field instead of a plain text field.
